RAFAELA is a social drama that won the “First Look 2020” contest at the Panama Film Festival and had its world premiere at the Indian International Film Festival in 2021. This film tells the story of a young woman seen as transgender who becomes the leader of a petty crime gang in the Capotillo neighborhood in Santo Domingo, and in an increasingly violent world, she has to fight to find her identity support for her family.
